Welcome to The Reading Palette! I am Amisha Goel.
“If you are going to get anywhere in life, you have to read a lot of books”- Roald Dahl.
When I was 16, I took this advice seriously and boy, am I glad I did. If it’s an overstatement to say that it changed my life, arrest me and lock me in a library, forever. I am a reader, a writer, and also a bit of an artist and I love movies. That’s a lot of things to keep me busy.
I created this blog because I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on literature and cinema which I believe are a reflection of our society, of ourselves. The aim is to build a community full of passionate and enthusiastic readers and writers. So if you want to join me on this creative journey and share your insights, I invite you for a guest post on The Reading Palette.

While I was figuring it all out, I took a dive into the world of comics. Check out my stuff here https://smallpressheroes.com/sunday-jam/the-jam-crew/amisha-goel/
Here’s a treat for comic books lovers:
Jason DeGroot , who has a deep rooted passion for comic books, has created the incredible Sunday Jam comics. The Sunday Jam is an adventure about a boy and his dog playing Frisbee in the park that quickly turns into an epic tale involving aliens, demons, and pickle-bots. It’s told by an array of talented storytellers in a “jam style” meaning each creator picks up the story based on what happened on the page before. So there’s no telling which direction the story will go. The Jam project started as a way to increase engagement at the Small Press Heroes Facebook Page but slowly became its own thing and now Jason is obsessed with it because of the amazing creative energy that crackles all around it.
It’s creative, it’s spontaneous, it’s innovative. Go check it out, and if you want to be a part of this amazing initiative, click here .
